Hello, my name’s Jamie Dance Thunder. Really.
I’m a 21-year-old English Language graduate from Cardiff University now studying for an MA in investigative journalism at City University, London.
This is a blog about journalism and the media, particularly the dark side of it. By that I mean the lies, distortions, innuendos, intrusions, and laziness of newspapers and broadcasters.
Nothing on here should suggest that all journalists and newspapers are useless, nor that even a rubbish publication can’t sometimes do well. But this will focus mostly on the bad.
If I’ve said something ridiculous, or there’s something I should have thought of, let me know. It’s good for me.
Why ‘exclarotive’?
An exclarotive, or interrobang, or exclamaquest, is one of these: ‽. It’s the punctuation equivalent of WTF, but can also indicate a rhetorical question. I like them.
